Our job is to help you make changes you want. We are able to offer effective therapy to help you achieve changes that you want to make. We use Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) therapies.
We agree to be bound by BACP's and UKCP's 'Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy'
The first step is to make an appointment. You will need to make your first appointment via phone. You can call us, or you can request a call back at a time to suit you using the contact page. Your call will be treated in confidence.
The initial call to make an appointment will take a few minutes to establish if we can assist you.
Your first session will last an hour and a half. For the first hour you will be able to 'have your say' and tell me about your situation. I will listen and may offer some feedback and explanation of what is happening. At the end of the hour you can decide whether therapy is for you.
If you decide to proceed then I will take some basic details such as name, address, GP etc, this will take 30 minutes.
You can make a regular appointments, usually this is the same time and day of the week as agreed.
